Fourth & First

                                     When we were in 1st standard, how easy!
                                      Nothing to worry, nothing to care!
                                   
                                      Now we're in 4th with a heavy bag,
                                      too heavy to carry, too heavy to bear!

                                       When we were in 1st standard, how easy!
                                        Sums like one plus one!
                                        
                                       Now we're in 4th how tough!
                                       Sums like ten lakhs + million and a ton!


                                       1st standard was the easiest,
                                       so much time to play and rest,

                                       but even though 4th is really tough,
                                       I still think its the very best!
